We have a new baby in the family!
My brother in law Lee and his wife Sara bundle of joy arrived Friday, Sept. 5th at 8:46pm.
Weight 8 lbs 9 1/2 oz
Height 21 inch long.

My Will is almost 10 months. So I have 2 months to plan his first birthday party.
I can not believe how fast the time just flies!
Its insane.

I started running/walking. At the park after work.
Hopefully it will help me keep this weight off and lose it alot faster.

There is nothing else new in the life of Laura....

Long time no post.

I have been busy.

I have an interview tomorrow with School Portrait Group.

to be a school portrait photographer.

yay!!! hopefully good news. we will see.

i came home today after a crappy crappy crappy night at work.

my little boy was in the floor in the kitchen playing. my husband was making cake.

will had some of his food out of his cabinet. ( his level. i let him choose what to eat.)

he was playing with the jars.

we started playing together rolling them to each other... (as good as a 8 month old can)

then i introduced him to the corner lazy susan cabinet. he was facinated that it went round and round. he saw a shiney metal bowl and grabbed it when the lazy susan came to a complete stop.

and we played with that.... the rest of the time. we had fun. a good end to the night. plus the chocolate cake was also a plus. (thanks hunny!)

i think he is the cutest baby boy i have ever seen. but im biased!

my time with him really made me feel better. he was getting really tired and soon was asleep.

i should really get to bed. interview is at 9:30 am.

New News!

Well, to update you all... I got my camera for mothers day! WHAT A FANTASTIC PRESENT! I LOVE MY HUSBAND SO MUCH!!! I had my first photoshoot 2 days after receiving it! :-)

it sounded good to me since i apparently cant come up with anything else!

another update since my last post ... my parents did end of giving me thier car. Very nice. We sold our toyota! YAY... no more car payment.

We are going to north carolina in july for a weekend vay-kay.

Im very excited about this.

A few things....

As known, I had bought a Nikon SLR D40 camera. I took it back. However, I am not begging my husband to let me get it again. Phillip and Charin both have awesome cameras now. Im thinking "Why on earth did i take mine back, Im retarded!" So he said we would talk about it. I cried. I want it back. I have some of the best pictures of Will... and I took them with that camera!

Will as teeth now. Ok two bottom ones. They have broke the gums and are clearly visible.
Isnt that scary? Hes almost 5 months old. As of April 12th he will be....

Know how you can blow air between your lips and they vibrate? Makes a "motorboat" sound?
Will has been doing it all day. He will take a deep breath, get his cheeks full of air (they expand to large bubbles.. its very cute) and blows his hardest! Its sooooo adorable! He is the cutest ever! He laugh at him because he's just amazing us everyday with adorable stuff.... hes so funny!
Makes me sooooo excited to see all the other cute and new stuff he is going to be doing soon. But! At the same time makes me so very sad.... hes growing so fast. Time is flying by... Its hard to take a moment just to savor....

Went to Springfield this past weekend. Tianna and I had a blast. Got up early... HA. We were pooped by the second store. Had to get a starbucks pic-me-up!
Shopped forever! Had dinner with a great friend of mine.... Had a blast doing that.
Had the hardest time driving home it was sooooo foggy!
Definatly want to do it again soon.... minus the fog!

I missed my boy... He was sleeping when I got home from my trip.... I guess he heard me talking because he woke up and started crying... I came in the bedroom and he was laying on our bed. He saw me and got the biggest smile on his face! Melted my heart! I love being a mommy!

I bought him tons of stuff. I got him some outfits and shoes. My favorite find was his Baby AIRWALKS, from Payless. They are so cute. Blue with green, white and black plaid stripes. SOOOOOO CUTE! Still a little big. But he will get there someday!

My parents got settled on thier house today. The insurance FINALLY totalled it! They are tearing it down 7:15 am in the morning! We are supposed to go watch it. I think Im going to cry! I grew up in that house. Seriously! I dont know if I even want to think about it! Its not like they moved where you can drive by and be like "Look Will, thats where mommy grew up..."
No! The whole house is coming down. It will be like it never exsisted! Im so very sad now!

Im not expecting to get something out of the settlement of the house. But, I think my parents may pay off our car, or give us theirs. Although thiers is a standard. Hmmm.. not sure I actully want a standard but .... it might be ok. I am pretty good a driving a stick! Or they may not do anything. Which is their right, by all means. Its their hard earned money that went into that house.
But either way I would be grateful for anything. I know they always take good care of us. They are amazing parents in that aspect. Always there when we need them. Im just glad it got taken care of and maybe now my mom and dad can rest and relax!

So we have plans to move to the Little Rock area. So to change the subject. We want to move to MAUMELLE. Which is a good area! The apartments we are wanting arent outrageous at all in price. They are no more than 650 a month and 250 deposit. That would be a 2 bedroom 1 or 2 bath. The apartments are called Riverpointe. It has a workout center/gym. Free tanning. 2 pools and has a play area for kids. All the apartments are NICE. I mean ..... modern nice. NEW!! Stainless appliances avalible in certain apartments. Modern... I like modern! I cant wait to see if they are like they say and show online, in person! We are hoping to go look in a few weeks. Randy said that he found a job that he thinks would be good. Which is with the postal service. Which means great benifits. We have discussed when we get down there and he gets settled in and his insurance kicks in for us. Trying to have another baby. Of course its going to be a mess trying to convince a doctor that I am going to need fertiltiy pills. Thats how I got Will. Maybe if I bring all my medical work. Oh and dont worry when we go down there... I wont be working. IT will be nice! Spending all my day at home with my son! :-) Being a housewife in a complete apartment. No constuction anywhere.... just perfectness!

Saturday and Sunday FUN!!

Wow. Aparently I have been busy. I havent posted anything in nearly a month.
We began to give Will baby food.
Like:

Pears
Sweet Potatoes
Rice Cereal

HATES:
Sweet Peas.

I dont like them either so I dont exactly blame him. :-S

I have a date tomorrow. Rekindling some friendships. My good friends Summer and Nicole from HS. Ahh.. the good old days. When we were soooo dramatic about the littlest stuff. I think we are big girls now though... :-)
We all 3 have kids ... and are married. How CRAZY is that!?
We are supposed to go to chilis to have dinner and a few drinks. Should be good fun

I took the camera back. I felt so bad for spending 600 dollars on a camera. But now.... I freakin' wish I hadent... I miss it. I want to take pics of my boy... but my camera sucks! Besides... the camera took amazing pictures.

Ok well... other than that, life has been hecktic.

Tornado hit gassville. My parents had to move. Im out a baby sitter for the moment due to it. I am hoping to get back to normal soon but it wont be until everything gets finished with the property that their house is on. So it could be another month. Booo!

But its been a blessing. My parents live in MH now so.... its been nice to see them more. They live so close now.

I also took back that baby high flyer toy for Will and got a bumbo.

Snow Day

Today started with a bright and and early start. My mom came to watch Will this morning at 6:45. It was snowing. There was barely a dusting on the ground. I got around and ready to go to work, I got im my car and the damn thing wouldnt start. I had left the damn front passanger door open. Not wide open but not completely shut. So it was dead and the roads were crazy covered with snow by then. I had to call Elizabeth to have her swing by and get me. So she did and then I went to work and it was dull. My dad came and got me in his 4 wheel drive from work. Went home. Randy jumped the car with his truck. We went to Wal-Mart, got Will a new toy..

MY NEW CAMERA!!!!

Im sooooo freakin excited. I am ready for this damn battery to freakin' charge.

Then no more damn sony camera. I have to fight with the flash to get it to work. I get one good picture out of 15 that the flash acutlly works on. How lame is that! Anyways ... NO MORE!!! WOOT!

Speaking of.... Its done!!! AWEsome... Im off to take some pictures. :-)

Super - Cereal

Today started off great. I got up, played with Will, made breakfast (Cereal, Bagel w/ cream cheese, and juice) took a shower and got ready for work. Walked outside... and almost flew away!! It was sooooo windy. Work was good though. Crazy loud in there from the crazy wind!!
When I got home I played with my little boy for a while and then went to make dinner. Bacon Cheddar Burgers and green beans. It was soooo yummy! Then of course we dont really have any "dessert" stuff. So I made cinnamon sugar toast. Now I'm eating cereal again! HAHAHAHA. Im hungry aparently! Seriously ... last night ... I ate a whole pint of Chocolate Hagen Daiz ice cream by myself... well minus 4 bites. Ok piggy .... yes I know...

I am a tad tired ... so good night!!!

Lonely Weekend!

This weekend I am without my husband. He went to Little Rock with his brothers and sisters. Needless to say, I dont sleep well without him. So, I am at my parents house. Will and I are sleeping over. Nice to spend time with my parents. They just adore Will. His Papaw has him spoiled. Seriously!


I went out tonight with my friend Mackie. We got a girls night out. We went to 178 club and had dinner. We really enjoyed ourselves.


Today at work my mom sent me some pictures that my dad had taken of thier day together.

He has so much fun when he's at Nana and Papaw's.

Like a noodle.

I just got back from an amazing massage. Soooo relaxed. Randy picked out a great Christmas prestent. Im really relaxed.

I did get my hair cut on Monday. It is super cute. Shorter - but super cute!

I promise to get pictures of it soon on here. My battery to my camera is dead and I'm to lazy to charge it. Correction- to relaxed.

Homemade pizza in the oven - pepperoni and pineapple. AMAZING. Cant wait to eat it. I am so stinkin' hungry. Its about done.

Lazy Sunday....

Seems like last night and today has just dragged by. Which is good. I hope it keeps it that way. I worked saturday till 1 and let my parents dogs out and then went to James and Tera's. We were all really hungry so we went to Elcharro's. Yummy Yummy!

We then ran over to walgreens, where I got my hair color.

Went back to my house to hang out. Randy's hand where he got bit by a stupid poodle, was infected. So he went to get it checked out. While Tera and I hung out, played with Will, and watched Americas Top Model. It was an old one. Marathon on MTV!

Lee and Sara came over. Randy, Lee, James and Tera all played the wii for a while. Then everyone went home around 9:30.

-I dyed my hair last night. It looks ok. I am getting my hair cut Monday, so it should look fabulous then.

Tera and I are pretty close. I would like to say we are best friends, almost more than cousins. She is expecting her second child. And we are all praying for a girl. Ms. Chloe Addison.

My sister-in-law and my brother-in-law are also expecting their first child.

There are going to be lots of babies in the family this year.

My parents got back last night about 9:30 pm. They didnt will anything at Tunica.

They called this morning about 8 wanting to see Will and go get breakfast. So we went to Mels Dinner.

Took Randy home, the medicine he took was making him sick. Mom, Dad and I went to Wal-Mart. Got Will some more diapers, wipes, 2 outfits, a silly songs VeggieTales dvd and two pacifiers. Then I came home and we have just been lazy all day long. Getting rested for the work week.

So far that's it, but its just barely the beggining of the week. Im sure I will be making some changes.

New Life

I am a new mom. A two month old, precious baby boy named William Elijah Nils Tolleson. The light of my life. I cry just about everyday because he's getting older. He's growing out of his newborn outfits, or at least some of my favorite ones it seems. He was 6 lbs 14 1/2 oz 21 inchs long when he was born, and now at 2 months he weights 12 lbs 3 oz. and is 23 /2 inches long. Like I said, he's growing so very fast. My husband and I are very happy to be parents. Its been a long time coming for us. It took 3 years to get pregnant and then my pregnancy went by pretty fast now that I look back on it. But the labor was never ending it seemed. 34 1/2 hours. When he finally arrived, he was so beautiful, he was worth every second I had to wait. I am back at work after 7 weeks off work. I came back Jan. 2nd to start the new year fresh. I sure have too. I am glad to be back at work. I came back part time so I still get to spend time with my baby boy. My dad gets to keep Will while I am at work, so its good for the Papaw - Grandson relationship. They have a good ol' time.

Randy is a proud daddy. He knows just how to get him to be quiet. He will lay him stomach down on across his arm and hold his head with his. Instant silence. Its adorable. Randy has such long arms that he's the only one that really can manage that.

Today we are going to go to my parents house and let the dogs out to play for a while. My parents took of to Tunica. Lucky them. Then off to Tera and James (My cousins) to give Conner (their son) his late birthday gift. Superman Sleep set. Cape and all. It has a story behind it because James has a picture of him when he was a little boy with a superman pjs on with a red blanket 'round his neck. Its going to be a passed down tradition, I think. Speaking of tradition. I have a picture of my Papaw and I sitting next to each other with him wearing a blue t-shirt that says "I Papaw" and my shirt says "I Papaw's baby". We are going to do that with Will when he gets a bit older, and I'm sure with all our kids. I think it will be a special thing.
